It allows you to add comments to any task, and displays them in the tasklist and single task view.

Our development process works like this:

We have now finalized the agenda for the next release.
It will be called Collabtive 0.7.6

It will contain many bugfixes and also some new functionality.

New functionality planned for 0.7.6:

• Listview for the file manager (In addition to the current gridview)
• Improved, asynchronous file upload (for browsers that can support it)

• General file manager improvements
• Improved single task view (will display timetracker for the task)
• Improved date formatting functionality (Sensible default formats, some general improvements)
• Improved structure for the settings table (this is not user visible)
• Improved XML/JSON API (still beta)

It will be the last release in the 0.7 series. All plugins purchased for Collabtive 0.7 and 0.7.5 will stay compatible with this release.

We hope to release Collabtive 0.7.6 in 6-8 weeks, although this can be subject to change.

The next release after 0.7.6 will be called Collabtive 0.8. It will bring major new functionality, as well as the usual assortment of bugfixes. It will be released in 3rd or 4th quarter of 2012.

The widget will open automatically when you log in to Collabtive.
It allows you to select the task you are working on, click “start time tracker” when you start working and “stop timetracker” when you’re done - and have the timetracker automatically track the time you have worked. No more manual entering of start and end time.

Inhaltlich liegt der Schwerpunkt auf Bugfixes, von denen es über 20 gibt.

Verbesserte Datumsformatierung
Für den Datumswähler gibt es in Collabtive 0.7.5 eine neue Formatierungsmethode, durch welche das verwendete Datumsformat weitaus flexibler wird.
Diese Anpassung kann man unter Verwaltung -> Systemverwaltung vornehmen.

Bessere Performance
Wir haben die asynchronen Abfragen optimiert, die nach neuen Chatnachrichten und Änderungen in der Onlineliste suchen, wenn der eingeloggte Benutzer nicht aktiv ist. Dafür wird ein Zerfallsmechanismus verwendet, der die Anzahl der Ajax-Anfragen an den Server verringert.
Dadurch sollte ingesamt die Datenbankauslastung reduziert werden.

Update
Wir empfehlen vor dem Update eine Sicherungskopie der Datenbank anzulegen.
Das Update von einer älteren Collabtive-Version ist einfach:

1. Entpacke das Collabtive-Archiv.
2. Erstelle eine Kopie der Datei config.php, die auf deinem Server liegt.
3. Kopiere config.php in /config/standard/ in den Ordner, in den du das Archiv entpackt hast, und ersetze damit die leere config.php-Datei.
4. Lade alle Dateien und Ordner auf deinen Server hoch und überschreibe damit die existierenden. Es müssen keine bestehenden Dateien gelöscht werde.
5. Gehe in deinem Browser auf update.php.
6. Lösche die Dateien update.php und install.php von deinem Server.

Collabtive 0.7.5 is mainly a bugfix and maintenance release. It brings more than 20 Bugfixes and smaller improvements.
It also contains some new functionality.

Improved date formatting
Collabtive 0.7.5 has a newly implemented formatting routine for the datepicker.
This makes much better configurability of date formats possible.
The date format can be configured in Administration -> System Administration

Improved performance
Optimized asynchronous queries to check for new chat messages and onlinelist updates when idle (i.e. when not browsing through collabtive). It uses a decay mechanism now to reduce the number of ajax requests to the server. This should reduce DB utilisation.

Updating
Be sure to backup your database before doing an update.
Updating from earlier versions of Collabtive is supported using 6 steps:

1. Unpack the Collabtive archive.

4. Upload everything to your server, replacing any old Collabtive files.
5. Point your browser to update.php.

Quelles corrections de bugs ?

Plus de 25 bugs ont été corrigés dans cette version pour rendre l’expérience plus stable.

Une barre de progression téléchargement a été ajouté pour le dépôt de fichier.
Le taux horaire des utilisateurs sont désormais éditables.
Les coins arrondis ont été activés pour IE9, et les composants fournis (tinyMCE, TCPDF) ont été mis à jour dans des versions plus récentes.
Trois nouvelles langues ont été ajoutées : le slovène, le croate, le persan et d’autres ont été grandement améliorées.
Un accès rapide à la sélection de projets a été ajouté à la barre latérale.

Damit handelt es sich um das größte Update von Collabtive, das je da gewesen ist.

Was bringt Collabtive 0.7? Vor allem einige Erweiterungen des Funktionsumfangs, verbesserte Sicherheit und viele Bugfixes.

Neues Theme
Frühere Versionen von Collabtive enthielten 2 Themes: “Standard” und “Frost”.
Bei “Frost” handelte es sich um ein von einer Freiwilligen beigesteuertes Template, das sich nur grob an “Standard” orienterte.
“Frost” war mittlerweile seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr gepflegt worden, daher haben wir beschlossen ein neues Template einzuführen: “Winter”.

Es befindet sich in dem Installationsarchiv und kann in Collabtive in der Systemverwaltung aktiviert werden.

Mehr Sicherheit
Collabtive 0.7 schließt einige mögliche Sicherheitslücken. Keine von diesen konnte man ohne Login ausnutzen, daher haben wir sie als mittelschwer eingestuft.
In der neuen Version haben wir den Schutz gegen Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) stark verbessert.
Collabtive 0.7 filtert nun alle Benutzereingaben effektiver um bösartige Javascript Einfügungen zu verhindern.

Behobene Fehler
Mehr als 25 Fehler und Probleme wurden für Collabtive 0.7 behoben - so sorgt die neue Version für eine stabile Benutzererfahrung.

Andere Verbesserungen
Ein Fortschrittsbalken wurde dem Datei-Hochladen-Dialog hinzugefügt.
Der Stundensatz eines Benutzers, sowie das Budget eines Projekts können nun nachträglich geändert werden.
Runde Ecken wurden für IE9 aktiviert und die eingebundenen Komponenten tinyMCE und TCPDF wurden auf deren aktuelle Version aktualisiert.

A quick jump bar for selecting projects has been added to the Sidebar.

Nous avons fixés un vingtaine de bugs, certains d’entre eux concernant de possibles failles de sécurité.

Toutefois cela ne pouvait être exploité que par un utilisateur qui possède un login d’accès. Nous ne considérons donc pas cela comme critique.

Qui y a t-il de nouveau dans cette mise à jour ?

Une requête attendue par les utilisateurs depuis fort longtemps :

Il est désormais possible de ne pas assigner une date d’échéance à un projet !

Pour cela il vous suffit de cocher la case “jamais” (”never due”) lorsque vous créez un projet et cela peut aussi être fait sur un projet existant simplement en l’éditant.

Nous vous encourageons à procéder à cette mise à jour et installer la nouvelle version 0.6.3.

Behobene Fehler
Unter den mehr als 20 behobenen Fehlern war auch eine mögliche Sicherheitsschwachstelle.
Sie konnte allerdings nur dann ausgenutzt werden, wenn man ein Collabtive-Benutzerkonto hatte. Daher sehen/sahen wir dies nicht als sonderlich kritisch an.

Neue Features
Wir wurden oft danach gefragt, nun ist es endlich möglich: die Erstellung von Projekten ohne Fälligkeit.
Hake einfach das Kästchen neben “Keine Fälligkeit” an, wenn du ein neues Projekt hinzufügst. Für existierende Projekte besteht diese Möglichkeit natürlich auch, indem man sie bearbeitet.

It brings more than 20 bugfixes, one of them for a possible security flaw.
However, this flaw can not be exploited if you don’t have a Collabtive user account.

It also fulfills one long-standing feature request: Projects without a due date are now possible.

Abbiamo applicato correzioni a più di 20 bug, tra i quali uno di essi era relativo alla sicurezza.
Tuttavia, questo bug non può essere di rilievo se non si dispone di un utente Collabtive.

Nuove funzionalità
E’ stata soddisfatta una delle funzionalità più richieste: “Progetto senza data di scadenza definita”.

Konfigurierbares Datumsformat
Das Datumsformat kann jetzt für die gesamte Applikation festgelegt werden.
In der Systemverwaltung kann man zwischen den Datumsformaten m.d.Y (31.12.2009), m.d.y (31.12.09), d/m/Y (12/31/2009) und d/m/y (31/12/09) wählen.

Sortierung von Blocks
Die Blocks auf dem Arbeitsplatz (z.B. Meine Projekte, Meine Aufgaben) können jetzt sortiert werden. Dazu klickt man einfach auf die Überschrift der Spalte, nach der man den Block sortiert haben möchte.
Diese Funktion wird in kommenden Versionen an weiteren Stellen eingebaut und verbessert werden.

Dateiverwaltung
Die Dateiverwaltung hat einige Verbesserungen erfahren.
Man kann jetzt unbegrenzt viele Ebenen von Unterordnern erstellen und Dateien zwischen den Ordnern per Drag & Drop verschieben. Dazu fasst man das Dateisymbol am Rand seines grauen Hintergrunds mit der Maus an und zieht es über den Ordner, in den die Datei verschoben werden soll.
Außerdem kann man jetzt Dateien und auch Ordnern rollenbasierte Un-/Sichtbarkeit zuweisen.

Viele weitere Änderungen und Korrekturen haben ihren Weg in dieses Release gefunden. Das mit dem Collabtive-Archiv ausgelieferte Changelog (changelog.txt) enthält eine vollständige Auflistung.

Le format des dates peut maintenant être configuré.

Les informations des blocs Tâches ou Projets peuvent maintenant être affichées dans un ordre différent.
Pour les trier, cliquez simplement sur les en-têtes de colonne. Cette fonctionnalité sera étendue et améliorée dans les prochaines versions.

Gestionnaire de fichiers
Le gestionnaire de fichiers a bénéficié de nombreuses améliorations.
Vous avez maintenant un niveau illimité de sous-dossiers, ainsi que la possibilité de déplacer les fichiers entre dossiers par glisser-déposer.
De plus, vous pouvez désormais définir des droits d’accès par fichier/dossier.

The dateformat can now be configured application wide.
In Administration->System you can set the dateformat to be m.d.Y or d.m.Y.
