Wir freuen uns, euch heute das Release von Collabtive 3.0 vorstellen zu dürfen.

Die neue Hauptversion ist das Ergebnis intensiver Entwicklungsarbeiten des vergangenen Jahrs.
Mit mehr als 50 Änderungen ist es dabei eines unserer umfassendsten Releases.

Der Fokus der neuen Version liegt auf Verbesserungen hinsichtlich Performanz und Interaktivität.
Um dies zu erreichen, wurde ein neues Pluginsystem eingebaut und die Bedienungsoberfläche vollständig überarbeitet.
Außerdem wurden alle bekannten Fehler behoben.

Reagiblere Bedienoberfläche
Die Anwenderoberfläche von Collabtive wurde auf der Basis moderner JavaScript-Rendering-Technologie neu aufgebaut.
Sie lädt jetzt schneller und ermöglicht dadurch ein interaktiveres Nutzungserlebnis.
Das Neuladen von Seiten wurde minimiert und durch asynchrones Laden und Anzeigen der Daten ersetzt.
Auch die Erstellen von Projekten, Aufgaben, etc. geschieht nun asynchron im Hintergrund.
Die neue Bedienoberfläche legt darüber hinaus die Grundlage für weitere Verbesserungen in zukünftigen Versionen.

Today we are happy to announce the release of Collabtive 3.0.

It’s a major version release and the result of extensive development going on over the last year.
With more than 50 changes, this is also one of our largest releases to date.
All known bugs have been fixed.

The focus of this release is on performance improvements and a more responsive user experience.
To achieve this, a new plugin system has been implemented and the user interface completely overhauled.

More Responsive User Interface
The Collabtive UI has been re-engineered using modern JavaScript rendering technology.
It loads faster and enables a more reactive user experience.
Page reloads have been minimized in favor of asynchronous loading and rendering of data.
Likewise, the creation of projects, tasks, etc. is now asynchronous.
The new UI rendering system also lays the foundation for more improvements in future releases.

Am 13. März haben wir Collabtive 2.1 (und 2.1.1) veröffentlicht.

Darin gibt es Fehlerkorrekturen, Verbesserungen für ein schnelleres Laden der Seiten, sowie neue Funktionen.

Schnellere Reaktionszeiten
Für dieses Release wurde der Mechanismus zum Aufzeichnen der Aktivitäten überarbeitet.
Daraus ergibt sich eine spürbare Beschleunigung der Ladezeiten, besonders wenn man mit vielen Aufgaben und Projekten arbeitet.

Verbesserte Zeiterfassung
Das Formular für die Zeiterfassung wurde verbessert. Benutzer können jetzt direkt die Anzahl der geleisteten Arbeitsstunden eingeben.
Die alte Funktionalität mit der Eingabe der Start- und Endzeit steht natürlich weiterhin zusätzlich zur Verfügung.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the availability of the Collabtive Mobile Web App.
It enables you to use Collabtive on mobile devices like tablets and smart phones.

Web App
The mobile web app comes as a plugin for Collabtive. Once installed on your web server, it allows Collabtive to serve mobile devices with a mobile-friendly user interface automatically. This way you don’t have to download or install anything on the individual devices.

The mobil web app has been thoroughly tested on iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android devices.
